Take Action – Come to Sacramento on May 22nd!
In just one week, thousands of educators and allies will rally at the Capitol to demand the funding and protection for public education our students deserve. There’s still time to join the action!
RSVP today to join the action in Sacramento on May 22 at cta.org/dayofaction.
Now is the time to raise our voices together to protect our students and fund our schools. In Sacramento, we will call on elected leaders to support historic legislation to fix the broken laws that govern charter schools in our state.
Organizers of the event have plans for parking, meals, and more. Folks are already coordinating carpools on Facebook and creating powerful art to bring to Sacramento on May 22 . When you RSVP, you’ll get all the details. This will be a historic #RedForEd Day of Action you won’t want to miss. And we’ll be stronger if you can make it, too.
Everything you need for May 22:
- RSVP today for the Sacramento Rally.
- Check out our FAQs for more information about the action planned in Sacramento!
- Spread the word on social media. RSVP and invite your community to join you on Facebook.
- Visit our digital toolkit with more details and graphics to share.
We hope to see you in Sacramento!
