Message from Moira!

Dear VTA Members,

Bargaining surveys need to be completed and ready for collection by noon on Wednesday, March 5th. Please contact your site Rep if you have not yet filled yours out. These surveys inform and guide the Bargaining Team in negotiations and your input is very important.

Voting for state delegates for the National Education Association Representative Assembly (NEA/RA) will be done at sites this week as well. Please take a few moments to cast your vote for the delegates who will represent us at the state level at the NEA/RA in July. Ballots will be delivered to sites this afternoon and need to be completed and ready for collection by noon on Friday, March 7th.

We are taking declarations of candidacy for local delegates for the NEA/RA from now until March 14th. Please see the attached information that details what is involved in being a NEA/RA delegate. *Pending a Rep Council vote on March 25th, elected local delegates may serve for a three year term. If you are interested in running for this position, please email me your 25 word candidate statement for the ballot by Friday, March 14th. The election will be held the last week in March.

Thanks,

Moira
