GLBT National Help Center
The GLBT National Help Center is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that is dedicated to meeting the needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community and those questioning their sexual orientation and gender identity.
They offer two national hotlines. The first is the GLBT National Hotline for people of all ages (youth & adult). The second is the GLBT National Youth Talkline, specifically for callers age 25 and younger.
They help end the isolation that many people feel, by providing a safe environment on the phone or via the internet to discuss issues that people often can’t talk about anywhere else.
GLBTNEARME.ORG is a National Resource Database that can help you access the nation’s largest collection of GLBT resources. Find the closest social and support resources, the closest community centers, the closest youth groups, and more!
You just type in your zip code and choose from 26 different categories of information; Bookstore, Business, Community Center, Crisis, Cultural, Fundraiser, Health, Hotline, Legal, Media, Professional, Recovery, Sports, Support, Student, Youth, etc.
Provided free of charge by the GLBT National Help Center, a non-profit organization operating the GLBT National Hotline and the GLBT National Youth Talkline.
